June 1, 2016

This year’s annual meeting of the nations notary membership looks to be very exciting, 4 day’s packed with good information! Attendance is expected to very large with a new focus… online enotarization! With 3 of the 4 days having special presentations, panels and demonstration of the online enotarization process. Initially adopted by the state of Virginian at the end of 2012 it was met with more than a little controversy. Now almost 4 years later with executions throughout the United States and abroad the safety, convenience and economies of technology have taken hold. With other states incorporating online enotarization and still others instituting pilots it looks like the foothold has been firmly established.

Some of the nation’s most experience users of notary services combined with legal experts will be in attendance to share their experience and how online notarization is forever changing the notarial landscape. Safedocs will be there and tweeting out some of the exciting news as it develops. You can also go the National Notary Associations convention website at ( for additional information and pictures daily.

With many of the nation’s leading participants in the signature/enotary space supporting online enotarization we look to increased adoption across many markets all benefiting by the efficacy provided by this online digital transaction medium. We will be providing a post convention wrap up to discuss the activity surround online enotarization at this year’s National Notary Association annual convention and how it was received within the nations notary community. Stay Tuned!!!
